Yesterday, I mused about effective strategies by retailers to eliminate lines and add convenience for the customer. I read a Forbes article this morning that pointed out that not only did Nordstrom Rack add tremendous convenience for their customers by deploying mobile technology, Nordstrom Rack added measurable revenue increases into their coffers. My favorite stat from the article? “According to the company’s 2012 March Sales Report…sales…increased 15.3 percent”.
